  • It is by law that while hunting, no alcohol may be drunk during the hunt, not even a beet or a light beer with lunch.
  • Please do not throw your cigarette butts away in the bush. Keep them or give them to a staff member to throw away.
  • You may fill your rifle’s magazine with bullets before the days hunting, but a bullet may only be loaded into the chamber on your professional hunter’s instruction.
  • Before taking a shot at an animal, make sure you are comfortable with taking the shot, as any wounded animals must be paid for in full.
  • An animal is determined if it is wounded or not, if any blood (no matter how little) is found.
  • At the end of each day you must empty your rifle’s magazine, and lock your rifle in your rifle case.
  • When driving with your rifle in the front of a vehicle, the barrel must point toward the floor of the vehicle.
  • When driving with your rifle on the front of a vehicle, the barrel must point upwards at all times or be in a gun holder.
  • When driving on a public road with your rifle to hunt on another ranch, it is by law that the rifle must be transported in a un case.
  • It is imperative that all payments for extra animals are settled in full before your departure. We do accept master and visa card. Our credit card machine unfortunately is in rands and our prices are quoted in dollars. In order for us to be paid the correct dollar amount, we use the rand buying rate for the day and add a 5% in order for us to get the correct dollar exchange amount. If you wish to save on the 5%, you need to arrange with your bank for transfer to be done TWO days before your departure.
